De nombreux pays pratiquent toujours le recrutement d’enfants soldats. Ne nous voilons pas la face, le phénomène n’est pas nouveau : ce fut le cas au Liberia, au Tchad, en Sierra Leone, en Cote d’Ivoire, en RDC, en République Centre africaine, en Syrie, en Libye. La liste est longue mais non exhaustive. C’est maintenant au tour du Mali d’y figurer.

Soixante deux pays ont signé le 3 juin le premier traité sur le commerce international des armes conventionnelles. Adopté en avril dernier, le traité n’entrera en vigueur qu’après avoir été ratifié par 50 Etats.
